Health Links (HL): Why is the health and wellness of your employees important to you?
Centerstone: Health and wellness is important for us here at Centerstone. We provide healthy food at company events, encourage staff with contests, and keep everyone abreast of any wellness activities planned.
(HL): How will you/do you know your program is successful?
Centerstone: We receive feedback from our staff through emails and surveys.
(HL): What obstacles did you have to overcome to get your program started? How did you overcome them?
Centerstone: We were fortunate to have a wellness budget. Partnering with your insurance company can help.
(HL): Do you incorporate safety along with your wellness program? If so, what does this look like?
Centerstone: Safety is a priority here at Centerstone. We encourage our staff to stay on top of their mental and physical health. We also provide information to staff and referrals to providers.
(HL): What tip/advice would you give to a business that is considering starting a workplace wellness program?
Centerstone: Get feedback from employees about what they want and need. Our employees respond well to incentives like FitBits.
